Members of ALEM met in Loughborough on Wednesday, 29 October, for an insightful presentation from Mr. David Goss, Technical Director of UKMHA, on the EU Machinery Regulation. Our members found the conference extremely valuable, and we extend our sincere thanks to David Goss for his support and engagement during the question-and-answer session.
Mr. David Gostick from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) was also in attendance. We are now exploring opportunities to collaborate with the HSE to obtain relevant industry statistical data that will benefit our members.
In April 2025, we held a round table session for members to discuss the changes following the revision of EN1570-1. Since then, further questions have arisen regarding the updates in EN1570-1:2024. To continue supporting our members, ALEM will be arranging another round table meeting to address these new queries and share insights.
