Following a systematic review of EN 1398, the European standard for dock levellers, a vote for its revision has been adopted. CEN TC98/WG 5 has now held its first meeting to initiate the revision process. This important development has been strongly supported by ALEM and the FEM Product Group for Elevating Equipment, who have both played a key role in the proposal for the standard’s update.
